Producer’s Dinner
Gonçalo dos Queijos
21 May | À TERRA Évora
Some products carry the character of the place they come from.
On 21 May, À TERRA welcomes Lactocampo for another Producer’s Dinner, this time dedicated to the world of artisanal cheese.
From Cumeada, near Reguengos, Gonçalo Balancho and his mother, Isabel, have spent years crafting goat’s cheese using traditional methods and respecting the natural pace of each stage in the process. From fresh cheeses to aged varieties, combined with hand-picked herbs, each product reflects a deep connection to the Alentejo landscape and its identity.
Throughout the menu, cheese takes on different forms, textures and intensities. From lighter, more delicate expressions to richer and more mature profiles, each dish reveals new dimensions of a product that is simple in origin yet full of character. Paired with wines and cocktails, the evening unfolds into a relaxed and immersive experience where tradition and creativity meet around the table.
With the producer present throughout the dinner, each moment feels closer to its origin, creating an experience that is genuine, personal and deeply sensory.
